304 stainless steel pipe - The most commonly specified austenitic (chromium-nickel stainless class) stainless steel, accounting for more than half of the stainless steel produced in the world. This grade withstands ordinary corrosion in architecture,and resists most chemicals. Type 304 is available in virtually all product forms and finishes.
316 stainless steel pipe - Austenitic (chromium-nickel stainless class) stainless steel containing 2%-3% molybdenum (whereas 304 has none). The inclusion of molybdenum gives 316 greater resistance to various forms of deterioration.
1) Cold rolling
The advantages of cold rolling are good dimensional accuracy ,surface quality ,low surface roughness ,high mechanical properties.
The steel surface of the cold rolled (forging) state delivery has oxide skin coverage and there is a great internal stress, so likely to suffer corrosion or rust,
Therefore , its packaging and storage have relatively strict standards
2) Hot rolling
Hot rolled steel state because of the surface is covered with a layer of oxide scale,so having some corrosion resistance, less stringent storage and transport requirements, unlike steel cold-rolled state delivery.
